Conclusion

That concludes the previously typed posts. From here on I will resume the normal posts.

The Last Few Posts

If you have noticed, recently I have included a summary of the last few posts on the blog. I intend to call on this tradition right now. I have been talking about CPR, name calling, flirting and I have even shared a few notes that I took in PE. I’m afraid I can’t tell you what I plan to do because right now.

More on Name Calling

After thinking about this, I have decided that kids who call names are just unsure. They are unsure about themselves, their friends and other aspects of their lives. I feel pity for those victims. At ULS name-calling was everywhere in every hallway and corridor. Name calling was everywhere. I recently saw someone called a very rude name which inspired me to write these two entries. Later!

Notes from PE

There are some notes that you should now.
1) Sudden cardiac arrest is when the heart stops pumping blood.
2) The best chance for survival depends on early CPR.
3) For every minute that passes without defibrillation the victims chance of survival falls by 7 to 10 percent.
4) After four minutes without CPR brain damage begins.

Name Calling

Why do people call names? Is it because they feel insecure about themselves? Is it because they think that they will become cool?? More later

Flirting

I am stunned at the lengths that some kids in my high school will go to impress the opposite sex. The funny part is that the guys tell the girls that their secrets are safe, but then some of the same guys go and blab to their friends. It is so odd. I truly don’t get it.

CPR in PE

We are now involved in the CPR unit in PE. There are some kids who are screwing around and throwing paper at one another. Isn?t that pathetic? Our gym teacher can?t control the class. The kids know that his threats are empty or at least we haven?t seemed them actually and he is grading everyone down, even though only a select few people are misbehaving.

The Next Few Posts

The Next Few Posts are going to be posts that have been previously typed up. They were typed up last week. I will inform you when they stop.

Blah

I don't really have anything to write about, so I'm going to type up my notes. Later.

Internet

I am still unable to get a good internet connection at home. I frankly don't know what to do. I have tried Net Zero, but that "doesn't work for the Mac". I am working on finding other FREE ISP's(Internet Service Providers) that work for the Mac. I have thought about looking up the local Net Zero call-in number, and putting it into my mac. I would also need a free account, so that is out. And even if it would be willing to try to get Net Zero onto the Mac, I would only be able to go online for ten hours every month. I would like to get another alias on our current ISP. That would allow me to go online for an unlimited amount of hours, and I would get a free POP3 e-mail account(which I would probably never use, because I like my webmail accounts so much). It would even be linked to the main account, so that my mom could monitor the webpages that I visit. I'm 15, but she still likes to know where I go on the Internet. This problem is very frustrating, but I will find a way. The other alias wouldn't even cost extra. Oh well.

Google's New Office

You will never guess what I just read on Google Jobs! Google is looking for people to work at their new office............. ON THE MOON!!!!! I'm not even joking. I can't believe it, but there it is!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE(JULY 2007): THAT WAS A JOKE THAT GOOGLE DID FOR APRIL FOOLS DAY

the truth about daimonds

Have you heard about the semi-new book by the actor Nicole Richie fromt eh Simple Life? It's called "The truth about diamonds". It sounds interesting. In case you didn't know Nicole Richie is the celeb that is so slim that you can see her vital organs under her skin. It's creepy! Anyway, the book is a novel and it's on sale now. I have not read it yet, and I was wondering what you all have to say about this. Make a comment!

TV: The Flintstones Season Four

I have recently purchased The Flintstones Season Four. It is the first season that has Bamm-Bamm! I just love the cute little kid. He goes Bam! Bam! Bam!-Bam!-Bam! It is really funny. I still love the first episode that Bamm-Bamm appears. I have seen it three times in the last few days, but I still enjoy the episode. I would highly recommend it! Later

Didi Hughes

Didi Hughes was a mother, daughter, sister, friend, cousin and community leader. Around Thanksgiving time 2005, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She died on January 23, 2006. She was very close friends with my mom, and my sister and I go to school with her kids. This post is my way of remembering her. I would like this post to serve as a tribute to Didi Hughes.

FTP hosting

I am still looking for some service that offers free FTP hosting, so that I can upload some cool pictures and other files that I want to share. Of course, I would not share anything personal, just pix of cool apple computers and other things like that. The FTP hosting would have to be free, and it would have to work with the Mac. I'll keep you all posted! Oh, and tell your friends about the site through my new "Tell a Friend" feature fron Bravernet. Later

Hey, Hey, Hey!

HEY HEY HEY! IT'S FAT ALBERT!! No I'm just kidding. It's Bill. I have been working on this blog, and brainstorming ways to get increased traffic to the site in almost all of my free time. My free time is limited, because I have midterms, but the time that I have after studying, I can devote to making this site the best that it can be. After all, you are reading Bill's Online Journal. The totally nonfiction blog about... well me. And my life. Later

Notes

I like to have neat notes. I always make a point to type them, or I will pay someone else by the page to type them for me.

Wrap-up:Marketing

I loved everything about Mraketing! I am very sad to see the end of the class. I have enjoyed it so much that I have signed up for Marketing 2 and 3 for next year. g2g Later

Wrap-up: Information Processing

I'm not quite sure if I liked Information Processing. I guess that I had a love/hate relationship with the class. I liked learning to type faster, but I hated the way she graded. I could turn in something, and would get a C and someone would turn in something of lower quality and get an A. I was really discusted at this. In a way, I am glad to see IP go. I did like the lack of homework, though. Everything that we did was in class work. That was nice.

New Outlook: Science

I look forward to another year in Earth Science with Mr. McIntyre. I have had fun in his class. We recently got a new room, because they finished up the S-Building. We probably got that room about 3 weeks ago. I like the room. I especially like the eye-wash station. We never use it, but when you push this big button, a cascade of water pours down on you. Your clothes are ruined, but that's better then losing your eye-sight because you get chemicals in your eye. It's fun in Science, and that's where I'm going next, so I'll keep you all posted. Later, and read the archives, and post comments!

Landmark Achievements of this Blog

In recent days and weeks, this blog has seen major changes, and improvements. I have added guestbook, polls, ecards, frequently asked questions(FAQ), and location bulletin markers to my site. I have seen a major increase in the site's traffic. That has been a very good thing. Also, I am going to be getting the ads that you see from Google fixed, so that you can click on them and I will get something. Right now, it's setup where you click on the ad, and I don't make any money. I have also added a bravenet forum, and "site-ring, where you can get to sites that I like. I might actually take that down, because noone is using it, which is good, because I couldn't figure out how to set it up properly! ;-) I can't wait to take it down actually. I will have more room in my sidebar to store more bravenet features like horoscopes, which I would read in the newspaper, except for three reasons. I think that I'm Scorpio, but I'm not positive. Also, I don't get a newpaper that has horoscopes. And the few times, that I do buy a paper from the stand, and look for the horoscopes, I can't find them. I probably would not read them everyday, even if I had offline access to them. That's why, you should see a horoscope feature from Bravenet, go up sometime soon. If I get the time that is. I have also added a Google search engine to the sidebar. That is pretty nice.

back to school

I have not been able to post very much, because I have been on break, but now that I am back to school, I can type some new posts. In the background I am uploading my school files to my Yahoo! account, so that I can delete them from my school account, because they are very old, and I don't want to slow down the school servers with old files. Yahoo gives me one gigabyte of mail storage space, so I can store the old files that I have on my Yahoo! Mail account. I can only send 10 megs at a time though. Anyway, back to school. We are reviewing in Science, starting poetry in English. Later.
